Mohit Sharma slams unbeaten century

NEW DELHI, JULY 5. An unbeaten 105 by Mohit Sharma helped Rohtak Road Gymkhana beat Gyan Bharati Cricket Academy by eight wickets in the final of the third Mata Durga Devi under-15 cricket tournament at the Bharat National Public School ground.

Mohit Sharma was adjudged the `man of the match' and `man of the tournament'. Sidharth Sharma was declared the `best batsman', Saurabh Nischal, the `best bowler' and Varun Sethi `best all-rounder'.

The scores: Gyan Bharati CA 179 for nine in 40 overs (Charanjeet Singh 59 not out, Dhruv Shorey 38, Harshdeep Sethi 35, Vishal Yadav three for 33, Kashitij Aggarwal three for 37) lost to Rohtak Road Gymkhana 181 for two in 34.4 overs (Mohit Sharma 105 not out, Tarang Gupta 39).
