Ajmal beats Shakti

NEW DELHI, JULY 5. Ajmal Club defeated Shakti Club 2-1 in a group II match of the SAIL DSA `B' division football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Monday. Shakti opened the account through Kamil in the 10th minute. Ritesh equalised five minutes later, while Miraj clinched the match winner.

In group III, Delhi Tigers beat Columbas 2-1. Shyam Singh scored for the winner, while Amit Tirkey found the target for the loser.

Royal Bengal and Young Bengal Association played a goalless draw at the Nehru Stadium.
