Achaiah clinches title

MYSORE, JULY 5. Dr. T. N. Achaiah (JWGC, Mysore), returned a card of five over 75 and clinched the coveted Stroke Play Gross title in the Governor's Cup golf tournament conducted by the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf club at their course here on Sunday.

The results: Stroke Play Gross: 1. Dr. T. N. Achaiah (75 gross), 2. C. S. Harsha (78 gross).Stroke Play Net (0-18): 1. S. A. Imtiaz (66 net), 2. I. L. Aalaap (68 net). Stableford Net (0-18): 1. Gopal Talreja (40 pts), 2. S. Vishal (38 pts).Stableford Net (Seniors above 60 years): 1. N. M. Biddappa (36 pts), 2. K. B. Vishwanath (35 pts).
