SFI names probables for Asian championship
BANGALORE,
JULY 5.
The Swimming Federation of India (SFI) has named the probables for the Asian championship, scheduled to be held in Dubai from September 18 to 23.
The selection was conducted during the National junior aquatic championship, which concluded in Jaipur on Sunday.
The SFI will hold a camp for the probables in Bangalore, dates for which will be notified later.
The probables:
Men: T. A. Sujith (Services), Rehan Poncha, Rahul Batra, Aniket D'Souza (all Karnataka), Akbar Ali Mir (Railways), Mandar Divase, Amar Muralidharan, Arjun Muralidharan (Police), Puneet Rana (Punjab) and Gairik Bardhan (Bengal).
Women: Shikha Tandon, Nisha Millet, Reshma Millet, D. Mrudula, Ambica N. S. Iyengar (all Karnataka) and Richa Mishra (Police). Our Special Correspondent
