Sarna to continue as MEA spokesman

NEW DELHI, JULY 5. Navtej Sarna will continue as the official spokesman and Joint Secretary (External Publicity) in the Ministry of External Affairs, sources said today. The order, issued a few days ago, appointing Mr. Sarna as Joint Secretary (Disarmament) had been superseded by a new order allowing him to continue as the official spokesman, they said.

Dilip Sinha, till recently India's Deputy High Commissioner in Bangladesh and who was to replace Mr. Sarna, will be given another assignment.
