Karan Harit shines

NEW DELHI, JULY 6. An all-round performance by Karan Harit (47 & four for 16) helped Sonnet Club beat Delhi Gymkhana by 25 runs in the Railway Cup under-17 cricket tournament at the Karnail Singh Stadium here on Tuesday.

The scores: Sonnet Club 135 for five in 25 overs (Karan Harit 47, Karan Rai 43) beat Delhi Gymkhana 110 for nine in 25 overs (Raman Sachdeva 33, Shobit Chandok 32, Karan Harit four for 16, Manan Sharma three for 41).

Northern Railway Academy 126 for eight in 30 overs (Ishan Kumar 34, Lalit Sharma 29, Ishant Singh 27, Ishan Bakshi three for 14, Ankit Maini three for 25) lost to Young Friends 127 for five in 22.2 overs (Sunny Sehrawat 72, Shivam Sharma 28, Rohit Sehrawat three for 19).
