10 State shuttlers for Asia Cup

MADURAI, JULY 6. Ten disabled players from Tamil Nadu, including six from Madurai, will be in the Indian team that will participate in the first Asia Cup paralympic badminton championships to be held at Kuala Lumpur from July 13 to 19, according to a press release from Mr. M. Mahadeva, secretary general, Paralympic Committee of India, Bangalore.

The players: J. Ranjith Kumar, K. Kathiresan, T. Elanchelian, G. Nantha Kumar, R. Batrinarayanana, T.Y. Fredy Koshi (all from Madurai), S. Krishna Murthy, T. Venkatesan (both Chennai), C. Bhaalaaji (Kalpakkam) and K. Chandramohan (Namakkal).
