TVSLMHSS enters final

MADURAI, JULY 6. Defending champion TVS Lakshmi Matriculation Higher Secondary School entered the final of the 12th V.K. Kalyanasundaram memorial trophy district-level schools' cricket tournament, defeating SBOA Matriculation Higher Secondary School by 50 runs at TVSLMHSS ground here on Tuesday.

The winner will meet Le Chatelier Matriculation Higher Secondary School, which beat Jeevana School by 40 runs, in the final.

The scores: Semifinals: TVSLMHSS 133 for nine in 25 overs (Vignesh 38) bt SBOA MHSS 83 in 22.4 overs (Ravikiran four for 41).

Le Chatelier MHSS 149 in 24.1 overs (Chidambaram 32, Kunal three for 26, Hemanth four for 24) bt Jeevana School 109 in 16.3 overs (Rakesh 52, N. P. Arun three for 26).
