Final phase of men's tournament from July 18

CHENNAI, JULY 7. The final phase of the State men's basketball championship is to be hosted at the BHEL Community Centre, Kailasapuram, Tiruchi, from July 18 to 21. The moffusil zone event for teams from southern districts is also conducted at the BHEL Centre from July 15 to 17 and the small City zone competition is being organised by the Association at the JJ indoor stadium, Kilpauk, here on July 13 and 14.

The State women basketball championship is to be staged at the BHEL Centre from July 18 to 21. A test for referees has been slated for July 18 at 10 a.m. at the BHEL Centre for those who want to appear.

A cash award of Rs. 10,000 each to the Tamil Nadu men's team members would be distributed during the championship at Tiruchi.
