Vijay Kumar, Ramu emerge joint winners

HYDERABAD, JULY 7. Vijay Kumar and Ramu emerged joint winners in the open rapid chess tournament, conducted by Magna Chess Academy at the academy premises at Lenaine estate, Abids Road, here on Tuesday.

M.Y. Raju was third and Panchsheel finished fourth. The fifth position was shared by P.V.V. Seshu and P. Satyanarayana.

In the womens category, the top spot went to Janaki Devi.
