Arti claims bronze

NEW DELHI, JULY 8. Arti Singh Rao clinched a bronze medal in the women's skeet event of the Asian clay pigeon shooting championship in Bangkok. Having tallied 67 out of 75, including 24 in the first round, Arti fired 22 in the final to gain a podium finish.

The men's skeet team comprising Mairaj Ahmed Khan (43), Rahoul Rai (47), Amit Sanghi (44) and Rajpal Singh Kochhar (48) kept its hopes of a team medal alive after two rounds. — Our Sports Reporter
