Indian teams

NEW DELHI, JULY 8. A 14-member India team will be participating in the Asian junior and cadet fencing championship to be held in Chinese Taipei from July 10 to 15.

India, which is taking part in the Asian junior for the first time, will field its team in only foil and epee disciplines.

Hungarian Istvan Marton, who has worked with the Indian fencers for the last two years, will be the chief coach.

The team (Men's foil): O. Sovaraj Singh, M. Tukaram, Harpreet Singh and Th. Rajeshor Singh. Epee: S. Jayanta Singh, Gauravjit Singh and Sumeeth S. Naidu.

Women (Foil): M. Usharani Devi, Harina Devi and W. Roji Devi. Epee: M. Sandhyarani Devi, Ruchi Trikha, S. Reorita Devi and Karamjit Kaur.
