New Friends Club rallies to win

NEW DELHI, JULY 8. New Friends Club rallied from a goal down to beat Cosmos Club 3-1 and recorded its second straight win in the DSA `B' Division super league at the Ambedkar stadium here on Thursday.

New Friends was down in the 15th minute after Ashok Kumar gave Cosmos the lead. Pradeep helped equalise in the 34th minute before Ramesh struck in the 52nd to put New Friends ahead. A strike from Kulvinder, in the 63rd minute, sealed the win for New Friends.

In another matches, Youngsters Club defeated Punjab Heroes 2-0. Vinod Arya opened the scoring in the seventh minute and Karan Bishnoi made it 2-0 in the 42nd to earn the first win for Youngsters. At the Nehru stadium, Goodwill Club beat Delhi Students 3-0 with Ravinder (27th and 88th minutes) and Prem (30th) scoring.
