Yogesh makes unbeaten century

MYSORE, JULY 8. An unbeaten century by K. Yogesh (125 not out, 9x4s) helped Mandya to register a 22-run over Chamarajanagar in a rain-hit match that was reduced to 25 overs, in the moffusil zones inter-district U-19 cricket tournament conducted by the KSCA Mysore Zonal committee at the Maharaja's college grounds here on Thursday.

The scores: Mandya 236 for eight in 50 overs (K. Yogesh 125 not out, Salimullah Khan three for 50) bt Chamarajanagar 95 for six in 25 overs (Salimullah Khan 33 not out) (target revised to 117 runs in 25 overs).

Mysore (Brindavan) 208 for nine in 50 overs (K.B. Pavan 76, Srinidhi 32, M.S. Vinay 27) bt Mysore (Chamundi) 89 for four in 25.2 overs (J. Kiran 25) (target revised to 104 runs in 25 overs as rain stopped play).
