NEW DELHI, JULY 15. Sandy Lehal made back-to-back birdies to hang on to a slender one-stroke lead after the third round of the Jaypee Open IGU-categorised amateur golf tournament at the Jaypee Greens Golf Resort in Greater Noida on Thursday. Lehal birdied the par-four 16th and the par-five 17th to bury his double-bogey on the second hole and carded a round of one-under par 71. Lehal's three-round aggregate was six-under 210. Jaskirat Singh Dullet was close on Lehal's heels with a score of 211. Simarjeet Singh leapfrogged the leaderboard with the best round of the day a 70. His opening round on Tuesday, 76, had left him in the sludge, but he recovered with rounds of 71 and 70.
