2-1 win for Garhwal Diamond

NEW DELHI, JULY 15. Garhwal Diamond and Royal Rangers rallied to score identical 2-1wins in the group `A' league matches in the DSA `A' division football championship at the Nehru stadium here on Thursday.Delhi Cantonment took the lead in the 22nd minute through Lalit against Garhwal Diamond. Five minutes later, Manoj scored the equaliser before Sushi (38th) netted the winner for his team's first win in the league.

For Rangers, Justine and Sang scored in the 20th and 36th minutes to steer their team to a 2-1 win against Paschim Heroes. Inside-right Dinesh Shokeen scored for Paschim Heroes (17th).

At the Ambedkar stadium, Uttarakhand Club edged past Uttaranchal Club 1-0 through mid-fielder H.S. Chauhan's last minute goal. In another group `B' match, State Bank of India and Panchkuian Club played out a goalless draw.
