Belgium pips India

NIVELLES (BELGIUM), JULY 15. Belgium defeated India 2-1 in the second and final friendly hockey match here on Wednesday night.

India, which scored a 3-1 win over the host on Tuesday, took the lead as early in the third minute through Deepak Thakur. However, Belgium scored two goals through penalty corners. The Indian team left for Germany to take part in the four-nation tournament at Dusseldorf. — PTI
