Tiruvallur squeezes past Tiruchi

KARAIKUDI, JULY 15. Tiruvallur scored a thrilling 7-5 victory over Tiruchi, via tie-breaker, to make the quarterfinals of the Indane Alamu 46th Tamil Nadu State senior inter-district football championship on Thursday. At regulation time, the teams shared six goals.

In another match, Dindigul beat Salem 6-1.
