CHENNAI, JULY 15. Kishore V. Nath of Sical registered the lone century on day two of the third round in the SPIC-TNCA first division league here on Thursday. Jolly Rovers bowled out Mambalam Mosquitos for 117 and secured an overall lead of 159 runs at IIT-Chemplast. Tinu Yohannan, Kulamani Parida and R. Ramkumar picked up three wickets each during Mosquitos' innings. At stumps, Jolly Rovers was strongly placed on 100 for three. At MRF-Pachaiappa's, Nath's unbeaten 114 (176b, 16x4) for Sical couldn't prevent the follow-on from being enforced, and at stumps Sical was six for no loss in its second essay. Aashish Kapoor took four for 72 to leave the Sical innings in shreds. Earlier on Thursday, K. Shree Vasudeva Das scored an unbeaten 74 (120b, 8x4, 1x6) as Globe Trotters declared on 400 for five. State Bank's V. Vijayasarathy took five for 80 with his off-spin as SPIC struggled to 209 for nine at the SPIC-YMCA ground. Vijayasarathy's display helped State Bank hit back after it was dismissed earlier for 245. Vijayasarathy couldn't add to his overnight score (56, 98b 8x4), but his 85-run seventh wicket partnership with G. Venkatraman (46, 118b, 5x4) was valuable. At ICL-Guru Nanak, IOB mediumpacer S. Desappan took five for 54 runs against Vijay CC, but the latter still took a 79-run first innings lead. Sadashiv K. Iyer scored 58 (60b, 9x4) as Vijay CC finished on 191. At stumps, IOB had knocked off the deficit and finished on 115 for two. India Pistons collapsed from its overnight score of 289 for three to 383 all out, but reduced Alwarpet to 139 for four at CPT-IP. For India Pistons, R. Sathish notched up a quick 51 (65b, 6x4). Alwarpet medium pacer Stuart Binny picked up five wickets. Indian Bank took the lead in the last over of the day, ending at 225 for five against Parry's at MAC `A'. Niraj Patel scored 94 (180b, 12x4, 2x6) for Indian Bank, and added 125 for the fourth wicket with E. Suresh (54 not out, 148b, 7x4). Earlier, Parry's was dismissed for 221.

IOB 112 & 115 for two in 53 overs (Amit Pathak 43) vs Vijay 191 all out in 73 overs (Sadashiv K. Iyer 58, S. Desappan five for 54, K.N. Ananthapadmanabhan three for six), at ICL-Guru Nanak.
