Anil Kumar's unbeaten 109 (17 x 4) helped Mahabubnagar record a six-wicket win over Gemini Friends in the A-Division (two-day) league cricket championship for R. Jayawanth Rao Trophy here on Thursday. S. Ratan Yadav's five for 66 went in vain for Our's as Brother's XI recorded a comfortable 105-run win.
The scores: A-Division (two-day): Brother's XI 181 (S.Ratan Yadav five for 66) bt Our's 76 (Wasim three for 25, Rajesh four for 15).
Gemini Friends 189 (Varun Hagarwal 54, Hari Haran 63, Anil four for 70) lost to Mahabubnagar 190 for four (Sharath 49, Anil Kumar 109 not out).
Balaji Colts 150 (Sashidhar 47, Goverdhan Reddy seven for 72) lost to Nizam College 151 for three (Avtar Singh 80, M.Nikhil Raj 36).
