Tripti shines

NEW DELHI, JULY 15. Tripti Khot's all-round performance (four for nine and 15 not out) steered Maharashtra to a thumping 10-wicket win against Orissa in a league match in the National sub-junior women's cricket championship here.

The scores: Orissa 53 for seven in 20 overs (Tripti Khot four for nine) lost to Maharashtra 54 for no loss in 10 overs; West Bengal 124 for two in 25 overs (Priyanka Roy 70) lost to Uttar Pradesh 125 for seven in 22.3 overs (Shiva Kothari 58 not out, Momita Ghosh three for 33).
