Hundreds witness rituals

PATHANAMTHITTA, JULY 18. The auspicious Kalabhabhishekom and Sahasrakalasom were performed at the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple today.

The Tantri, Kantaru Rajeevaru, performed the rituals before the Utcha pooja.

There was heavy rush of devotees at the Sannidhanam to witness the rituals and the Melsanthi distributed prasadom (sandal paste) to them, later.

The temple would be closed after the Athazha pooja on Tuesday evening, marking the culmination of the five-day monthly poojas.
