NEW DELHI, JULY 31. A 16-year-old girl was allegedly criminally assaulted by her tenant at Welcome Colony in North-East Delhi on Thursday. The accused has been arrested. According to the police, the mother of the girl had gone out of the house on some work when the young man, who lived on the first floor, allegedly lured her to his room on some pretext on Thursday and criminally assaulted her. In the meantime, the girl's mother happened to reach home and caught the accused red-handed. Subsequently, the police were informed. The Welcome Colony police have arrested the accused and further investigations in the case are on.
