NEW DELHI, JULY 31 . A city court today rejected the bail plea of a Delhi police officer, D. P. Singh, charged with the murder of a minor boy during the anti-mandal agitation of 1990. Additional Sessions Judge J. M. Malik rejected Singh's plea saying there was no ground for bail at this stage. The court had on May 4 this year, framed murder charges against Singh, almost 14 years after 15-year old Aditya Narain was shot in his head near the Sarojini Nagar bus depot where a crowd had allegedly gathered to protest the Mandal Commission bill. Narain later succumbed to his injuries. PTI
