Special train

CHENNAI, AUG. 2. To clear the extra rush, Southern Railway will operate a special train from Chennai Central to Coimbatore on August 6. The special (685) will leave here at 9.15 p.m. on Friday and reach Coimbatore at 6.55 a.m. the next day. It will have one AC two-tier, one AC three-tier, 10 sleeper class compartments, three general second class and two luggage brake van coaches. It will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur and Coimbatore North stations.

Reservation will begin on Tuesday, a railway press release said.
