THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG. 12. Another round of the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP), for admission to the Medical/Agricultural courses in Government/self-financing colleges for the year 2004, began here today. The revised CAP had been necessitated by the cancellation of the allotment of seats conducted earlier for students with ranks from 332 in the merit list drawn up by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), following a court directive relating to the fee structure in the colleges. At the revised CAP held today for candidates with ranks 332 to 1200 in the Medical Rank List of the CEE, 638 out of the 674 who reported were allotted seats. Students with ranks from 1201 to 2200 are to report for allotment of seats, tomorrow. The vacancy position after the allotment done today is given below:
