Woman found murdered

TUMKUR, AUG. 1 3. A woman was found murdered at G. Rangenahalli in Sira taluk of Tumkur district on Thursday.

The police said Hussainabi (45) was found murdered in a hut in front of the house of Surya Nayak. Her throat had been slit. She came to the village along with her husband, Budan Sab, and two daughters 18 days ago. The police initially said Budan Sab and his daughters were missing. However, Budan Sab was arrested on Thursday evening. During interrogation, Budan Sab said that Hussainabi was his third wife. The police suspect that Budan Sab murdered her on Wednesday.
