KOCHI, AUG.19. The Kerala High Court has directed the Ernakulam District Fire Officer and Deputy Chief Engineer (Distribution), KSEB, Kalamassery, to inspect the building of the Campion School at Edappally and report to the court whether its construction had been made in accordance with the provisions of the Building Rules and whether fire safety measures had been provided in the school. Justice K. Balakrishnan Nair ordered that the report be filed within a month. The direction came on a writ petition filed by All Kerala CBSE School Parents Association, Campion School Unit. The petitioner alleged that fire safety measures had not been provided in the school. Besides, the building of the school had been constructed in violation of the Building Rules.
