Haul of detonators

VILLUPURAM, SEPT. 6. The police arrested a rig operator J. Ilayaraja (22) of Ezhu Sempon and seized from him 25 electric detonators and 40 gelatin sticks today. He was remanded to custody on charges of possessing the explosives without valid licence.

When the sub-inspector, Selvakumar, was carrying out a vehicle check, he detected the explosive materials hid in a tractor.
