House burgled

CHENNAI, SEPT. 8. Fifteen sovereigns of jewellery and Rs. 1,500 in cash were stolen from a house on Sixth Street, Kandaswamy Nagar in Palavakkam on Tuesday.

Chengai (East) police said Suresh and his wife, on returning home from work, found the door broken open and the valubles missing from the almirah.
