MALAPPURAM, SEPT. 11. The Left Democratic Front in Kerala has no plan to take the Indian National League (INL) into its fold, the CPI-M Polit Bureau member, V. S. Achuthanandan, said here today. ``We have no plan to expand the LDF by taking in parties like the INL,'' Mr. Achuthanandan, also Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala assembly, told reporters. Asserting that the LDF was not rattled by the transition of power in the State, the CPI-M leader said the Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, would not be able to retrieve the lost ground of the ruling UDF coalition as he was involved in policy formulation of the previous A. K. Antony Ministry in his capacity as the UDF convener. Earlier, inaugurating a meeting of the non-resident Keralites forum, `Pravasi Sangham', Mr. Achuthanandan charged the UDF Government with failure to address NoRKs' problems such as the high rates of fare charged by airlines in the Kerala-Gulf sector. - PTI
