VISAKHAPATNAM, SEPT. 19. A jilted lover is now cooling his heels in the Two Town Police Station after he allegedly slapped and bit his 20-year-old ex-girlfriend. Konna Kiran Kumar (25), a resident of Allipuram was arrested by the police on Saturday after he allegedly followed Gavara Prasanna Lakshmi from a shopping complex and bit on her neck and hand for moving around with another boy. Kiran Kumar lost his cool and attacked her after she told him bluntly that she was no more interested in him. Though they had an affair for several years, she severed relationship with Kiran Kumar for his inability to secure a job and not changing his behaviour. On receipt of a complaint, police arrested Kiran Kumar. During enquiry, the girl told the police that she had no confidence in Kiran Kumar. She is also said to have decided to marry her new boyfriend. The SI, Shaikh Hussain, is investigating.
