Mahesh Babu to surrender

By Our Staff Reporter

WARANGAL, SEPT. 19. Following directions from the district police and in the backdrop of the District and Sessions judge prohibiting entry of groups into the court, cine actor, Mahesh Babu, has decided to come with a few persons to surrender before the court on Monday.

Police case

The police booked a case against Mahesh Babu and others who along with his fans allegedly damaged the private property at Sony video mixing unit and `kidnapped' its proprietor during his visit to Warangal as part of his film promotion recently.

Several persons from the film industry vowed that they would come in large numbers to Warangal with Mahesh Babu expressing solidarity. However, the district police advised them against such a move as it would lead to law and order problem. The district judge also issued prohibitory orders barring entry to the media and general public coming in groups.

Film producer, Daggubati Suresh, and actor, Jagapathi Babu, on Friday met the Warangal DIG, B.L. Meena, and the SP, K. Srinivasa Reddy, and held talks with them. Following the talks, it was decided that only three persons would accompany Mahesh Babu .
