Avinash dazzles
NEW DELHI,
SEPT. 19.
Four goals by Avinash helped Shahdara Heroes to a 6-2 victory over Swami Anand Muni Club XI in the ONGC Delhi State hockey league on Sunday.
Amit and Virender scored the other goals for the winner. Dinesh and Jitender scored for the loser.
In another match, Tribal Heroes beat Delhi Sports Club 4-3. Nirmal Kujur scored both the goals as Adivasi Club beat Rajput Club 2-0.
Azad Club beat New Stars 2-1.
The league will resume on Sept. 25.
