ISO certification for BSNL wing

CHENNAI, SEPT. 20. The Tamil Nadu Electrical Wing of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited was awarded the ISO-9001-2000 certificate.

The certificate was presented by Dr. A. Mathur, chief executive officer, Standardization, Testing and Quality Certification, Government of India and was received by V. P. Gupta, principal chief engineer (electrical), Tamil Nadu Electrical Wing.

Also present were R. Ravindran, senior deputy director General (EW) from BSNL, New Delhi, K.B. Brahmadathan, chief general manager, BSNL, Chennai Telephones and K. Sridhara, chief general manager, BSNL, Tamil Nadu Circle.
