By Our Corporate Reporter
CHENNAI,
OCT. 14.
Bunge Agribusiness India has a subsidiary of Bunge of the U.S., has announced its entry into the edible oil market.
Addressing presspersons here on Thursday after launching edible oils under its heritage brand Dalda, Christopher White, Regional General Manager-Asia, Bunge Limited, said Dalda was an integral part of Indian kitchens for decades. Considering the varied taste preferences of consumers across the country, Bunge had come out with five different variants of Dalda oil.
The company had already launched refined soyabean oil, refined groundnut oil and filtered mustard oil in the North. It would be making available filtered gingelly oil, refined sunflower oil and refined groundnut oil in the South.
The company was working closely with Hindustan Lever's distribution network to market these products in India, he said.
