Cooperative bank's evening branch
KOZHIKODE: The Minister for Cooperation, M. V. Raghavan, will inaugurate the evening branch of the Kozhikode District Cooperative Bank (KDCB) at the Kallai road on Saturday. He will also launch the modified loan schemes of the bank on the occasion. The KDBC President, M. Mehaboob, the Vice President, Manayath Chandran, and the general manager, K. C. Narayanan, told presspersons on Thursday that the CPI (M) Kozhikode district secretary, V. V. Dakshinamoorthy, would unveil the photo of late E. V. Kumaran, who had been the president of the bank for a long time, at the bank headquarters. T. P. M. Zahir, MLA, will open the new counter and the Cooperative Societies Registrar, K. Kesavan, will receive the first deposit.
