NEW DELHI, OCT. 15. Favourite S. Ravi Teja showed the way as leading players easily won their opening round matches in the boys and girls sections of the Parsvnath National under-11 championship at the Bapu Samaj Kendra here on Friday.

Leading results (1st round): Boys: S. Ravi Teja bt Jhujar Singh, Jintu Singh lost to Viswanath Prasad; K. Priyadarshan bt Karan Khajanchi; Karma Pandya lost to Aditya Udeshi; Kaushik lost to N. Srinath; M. G. Gahan drew with K. R. Kumar.

Girls: Navya Vaishnavi lost to Srilakshmi; Lakshmi Sahiti bt Neha Patkar; G. Madanasree bt Nitya Ahuja; Niyanta Dave lost to Kiruba H. Arasu; Aditi Sharma lost to Pavitra Jagtap; V. Chaitanya bt Shikha.
