TCC in first phase final

KOCHI, OCT. 16. The host Tripunithura CC (TCC) defeated Globstar Telecom (Aluva) by two wickets and entered the first phase final of the 54th Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Saturday.

The scores: Globstar Telecom 210 for nine in 40 overs (Nisar 67, Vinod 48, Srikkanth four for 54) lost to Tripunithura CC 211 for eight in 34.2 overs (Jayamohan 55, Haridas 40, Saby John 34).
