Dasara games
MYSORE,
OCT. 16.
The Dasara games 2004 starts at the Chamundivihar stadium from tomorrow (Oct. 17). The three-day sports meet will see about 1,200 sportsmen from five divisions, Bangalore City and rural, Mysore, Gulbarga and Belgaum vie for top honours. Events will be conducted for men and women in fourteen disciplines. A half-marathon (men & women) will be held on the Oct. 19 morning at 6 a.m.
Olympic hockey player Arjun Halappa will inaugurate the meet at 10 a.m. Javagal Srinath will be the guest of honour.
