COIMBATORE, OCT 16. Ganesh Prasad of Chennai had no difficulty at all in grabbing the pole in Group D 4-stroke 161 to 250cc and Group D 2-stroke 111cc to 160cc for the fourth and final round of the Rolon Racing Challenge for two wheelers to be flagged off at the Kari Motor Speedway track at Chettipalayam on Saturday. The final day event has attracted more than 100 entries and a further crowd is expected to take part. For the first time, two new categories have been included, novice for Group D 4 stroke 80cc to 110cc and 111cc to 160cc classes and mopeds up to 80cc. The organisers have also announced two additional prizes, a trophy for the fastest lap on the morrow and a cash award of Rs.15,000 for the fastest lap of the championship, which is being co-sponsored by the Overdrive, a magazine for cars and bikes.
Group D (4-st 80cc to 110cc): Preetham Dev Moses, 111 to 160cc: Rajini, 161cc to 250cc: Ganesh Prasad.
Group D (2-st 111cc to 160cc): Ganesh Prasad.
Group C (2-st 111cc to 160cc): Sriskandarajah.
Novice (80cc to 110cc): Venu Ramesh Kumar. 111cc to 160cc: N. Rajeshwaran.
Mopeds (Up to 80cc): R.G. Gopalakrishnan.
