Gangjee 12th
NEW DELHI,
NOV. 4.
India's Rahil Gangjee was tied 12th after the opening round of the inaugural $200,000 Carlsberg Masters golf championship at Hanoi, Vietnam on Thursday.
The Asian PGA Tour event saw Rahil card two-under 70 at the newly-opened Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club to be placed at the 12th spot alongwith eight others including the current Asian number one Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand.
Unheralded Anthony Summers was placed atop the leaderboard with a course record of six under 66, according to information received here.
Among other Indians in fray, Ashok Kumar carded a one-under while Arjun Singh had a par round to his credit. — PTI
