Mayank, Nikhil sparkle

NEW DELHI, NOV. 4. Unbeaten knocks by Mayank Kumar (81) and Nikhil Punia (64) helped Venkateswara College beat Zakir Hussain College by nine wickets in a second round match of the Delhi University inter-college cricket tournament here.

The scores: Zakir Hussain College 174 for eight in 40 overs (Nayan Doka 60) lost to Sri Venkateswara College 175 for one in 26.4 overs (Mayank Kumar 81 not out, Nikhil Punia 64 not out).

Dayal Singh College (Evening) 188 for six in 40 overs (Rajan Kumar 57) bt Dayal Singh College 114 in 31.1 overs.
