Big win for Young Pioneer's

NEW DELHI, NOV. 4. Young Pioneer's English School, Imphal, beat Mayo College, Ajmer, 11-0 after leading 3-0 at the interval in a group `A' league match of the ONGC 22nd Nehru sub-junior hockey tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Thursday. The win fetched a knock-out berth for the Manipur team.

Khu. Pabinanta Meitei (7), Kh. Kothajit Singh (2), L. Gopeshor Singh and K. Devekishor Singh scored the goals.

CRZ Senior Secondary School, Sonepat, drew 1-1 with Nihal Singh Public School, Nangloi, yet managed to clinch a place in the knock-out. Anil K. Paliwal scored for the Haryana team after Dharmender had put the Delhi team ahead in the group 'D' encounter.

In group `E', Moti Lal Nehru School of Sports, Rai, beat Fr. Agnel High School, Pilar, 5-0. Arun (2), Amit Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Sudhakar Yadav were the marksmen.

In group `F', Union Academy Senor Secondary School, Delhi, beat Bharat Singh Memorial Senior Secondary School, NIdani, 2-1. Tejinder Singh Rawat and Ashish Kumar scored for the Delhi team, while Sandeep found the target for the Jind team.
