HYDERABAD, NOV. 4. K. Venkatesham defeated M.S. Reddy 150-127, 150-82, 150-44 in the billiards semifinals of the JHIC Open State billiards and snooker tournament at Jubilee Hills here on Thursday.

The results: Snooker: Lucky Vatnani bt K. Someswara Rao 64-37, 45-59, 50-43, 51-40; K. Venkatesham bt John Bosco 67-95, 14-51, 63-22, 69-15, 65-35.

Billiards: semifinals: K. Venkatesham bt M.S. Reddy 150-127, 150-82, 150-44; S. Simhachalam bt P.G. Benny 150-15, 150-14, 150-41.
