Five Lashkar militants killed

JAMMU,
NOV. 6.
Foiling an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC), the Army today gunned down five Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in an encounter in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A 16 Corps Army spokesman told The Hindu that last night an infiltration bid was detected along the LoC in the Krishna Ghati sector.Immediately, the troops laid an ambush and challenged the militants when they entered the Indian side of the LoC. The militants were identified as Pakistan nationals. Heavy weaponry, communication equipment and printed material wererecovered.
