Andhra takes lead

BANGALORE, NOV. 24. Andhra took first innings lead over Tamil Nadu in the South Zone under-17 cricket tournament here on Wednesday. Replying to Andhra's first innings total of 218, Tamil Nadu could muster only 124, thanks to G.V.S. Prasad, who claimed five wickets for 51 runs.

The scores: Kerala 107 v Hyderabd 300 (Benjamin Thomas 42, Vishal Sharma 58, Kushal 68, Md. Sanuth five for 130).

Goa 209 v Karnataka 237 for five (Kunal Kapoor 86 n.o., Pawan 63 n.o.)

Andhra 218 and 192 for four (Mohsin Basha 46 n.o.) v Tamil Nadu 124 (G. V. S. Prasad five for 69).
