Bal Bharti enters Super league
NEW DELHI,
NOV. 24
. Bal Bharti Public School (Noida) defeated Guru Harkrishan Public School (Vasant Vihar) 2-1 to enter the Super league phase of the junior section in the 22nd S. S. Mota Singh memorial hockey tournament here on Wednesday.
Mayank Negi and Parminder Negi scored for the winning team. Jatinder found the mark for GHPS.
Amity International School (Noida) also advanced to the next stage by beating Apollo Public School 5-4 after the teams were locked 1-1 at the end of regulation time.
In the girls' section, S. S. Mota Singh School thrashed GHPS (Fateh Nagar) 7-0. Komal (four), Pratishtha (two) and Gursharan were the scorers.
