CPI(M-L) seeks tie-ups for Bihar elections

By Our Special Correspondent

PATNA, NOV. 30. The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) today said it was open to forming alliances to take on the ruling Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the coming elections to the Bihar Assembly early next year.

Addressing a public meeting at the Gandhi Maidan here, the party general secretary, Deepankar Bhattacharya, said that his party was willing to talk with the Left and other democratic parties provided they were willing to maintain equidistance from both the RJD and the BJP.
