4 young men killed in truck accident
SANGAREDDY,
DEC. 13.
Four young men lost their lives and two others were seriously injured when the truck in which they were travelling rammed into another truck parked on the Hyderabad-Mumbai highway in the early hours of Monday. The accident occurred near Madri village under the Kohir police station limits of Medak district.
Jaipal (20) of Alugolu, Rakesh (25), Subhashganj, Zaheerabad, and Vithal (20) of Chiragpalli, and Nagender, resident of Balki in Karnataka, who were sitting in the driver's cabin, died on their way to hospital. Nurundayya, one of the injuredpersons, has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad, while Sivraj is being treated at Zaheerabad Government Hospital.
According to the Kohir police, the stationary truck had trouble with its air- locking system and the driver was trying to remove the vacuum when the other truck hit it from behind.
